Founded in 2018 to empower parents to disrupt inequities in education, Atlanta Thrive has leveraged their initial group of 30 powerful parents to log 4,000 supporters in their parent database. Atlanta Thrive has initiated multiple campaigns, including supporting increased accountability metrics for Black and brown students in APS. Its members have knocked on over 10,000 doors to make parents aware of the inequities within APS. The organization intends to incorporate as independent 501(c)(3) by the end of 2021.
This is a video highlighting Atlanta Thrive’s fellowship program, which is designed to bridge the gap between school, family, and community.
