DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County’s Tapestry Public Charter School is looking to expand their reach, but not through their class size. It is expanding to Clayton County.

Clayton County Public Schools approved a new location for Tapestry Public Charter School (grades 6-12)  in its June 2 meeting in a 7-2 vote. The school is planned to open in the 2026-2027 school year with grades 6-10, adding 11th grade in 2027 and 12th in 2028.
