Investing in High-Quality Options

We work to expand access to strong K–12 public schools across Metro Atlanta, ensuring that all students receive the education they deserve, regardless of where they live and learn.

School Incubation and Launch

We’ve helped launch 23 public charter and innovation schools, expanding access to excellent public education for nearly 15,000 students in historically underserved Metro Atlanta communities.

Championing What Works

We identify and amplify innovative ideas that have proven successful, pushing the boundaries of educational possibilities through partnerships, advocacy, and collective action.

Innovative Schools

We support innovative public education models, including place-based solutions and specialized models such as Montessori, project-based learning, and hands-on work-based learning.

Bridging Local and National Resources

We bring resources, best practices, and bold ideas from across the nation to our community, ensuring continuous improvement.

Relay Graduate School of Education (GSE) Launch

We helped bring Relay (GSE) to Georgia, supporting teacher and leader training for APS. Since 2018 the program has trained more than 250 teachers and 40 APS school leaders, with 100+ more teachers added annually.

Transforming Systems

We focus on breaking down the barriers to systemic change and implementing solutions that create sustainable, large-scale improvements in K–12 education.

Goals and Guardrails Policy

We helped shape APS’s Goals and Guardrails policy—setting measurable targets, ensuring community voice, and advancing equity and accountability to drive lasting, student-centered improvement.

State Policy Coalition

Our state policy coalition convenes advocates to advance systems level change—improving charter authorization, funding equity, and accountability to expand opportunity for all Georgia students.
