Tapestry Public Charter School will Expand to Clayton County

We applaud the Clayton County Board of Education for approving the expansion of Tapestry Public Charter School. The Board has clearly listened to the needs of its community and placed student success first in making this decision.

Local charter authorization is a critical lever for expanding access to high-quality, public education options that reflect the needs of families. More than 220 Clayton County families have already expressed interest in Tapestry’s inclusive, student-centered model, which has a long and proven track record of supporting both neurodivergent and neurotypical students.

We look forward to continuing to champion efforts in Clayton County that ensure all students—regardless of how they learn—have access to public schools where they can thrive.
