RedefinED Atlanta created the Clayton County Grant Advisory Council to ensure families and community members shape how we invest in public education. As we grow our work in Clayton County, the council helps our team listen deeply, elevate community priorities, and direct resources where they’re needed most.

Meet Our 2025 Grant Advisory Council

In 2024, we launched the Clayton County Grant Advisory Council, a group of local residents helping us better understand the needs of students and families. Together, council members and RedefinED Atlanta lead a community-driven grantmaking process—elevating local assets and shaping where resources are directed.

Clayton Communities in Action Grant

The Clayton Communities in Action Grant is designed to strengthen family and community engagement in K–12 public education, with the goal of improving student achievement. Through an annual $100,000 investment, the fund supports programs that equip families with the tools, resources, and knowledge they need to play an active role in their children’s learning and school experience.
