King Center CEO Bernice King to be honored at Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Awards

The CEO of The King Center, Bernice King, is being honored at Atlanta Business Chronicle’s fourth annual Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Awards.

King, the daughter of renowned Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. and a global thought leader and speaker, was chosen to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Awards judging panel, made up of former winners and Chronicle editorial staff.

Through her work at the center, which was founded by her mother Coretta Scott King, Bernice King educates people around the world about the nonviolent principles modeled by her parents. Under her leadership, the King Center has implemented initiatives such as the annual Camp N.O.W. Leadership Academy, Nonviolence365 trainings and The Beloved Community Talks.
