If you are invited to apply for a grant, we will ask you to go through the process below:
formal proposal
Prospective grantees that align to our mission, vision and organizational priorities will be invited to submit a formal proposal.
due diligence period
This period will be used to review documents, interview leaders and staff members and gather any additional information.
internal review
All formal proposals go through an internal review, a committee review and then a review by redefinED atlanta’s board.
decisions
Approved grantees will be notified on a rolling basis as soon as a decision has been reached. Approved grantees will receive a grant agreement that includes targets and benchmarks. Grant money will be distributed according to individual grant agreement specifications. It can take up to 3 months from application submission to grant decision.
grant management
Grantees will be a part of redefinED atlanta’s ongoing grant management process. This will include data collection that relates to grant outputs, outcomes and targets, site and school visits, and progress reports.
